Kathy Barrick Good Night Moon Cross Stitch Pattern. This piece was inspired by the wonderful children's book Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown.  It was certainly one of my favorite books to read to Liz when she was a little girl and definitely one of her favorites as well! The many stars in this design are straight stitched.  As are the moon's eyelashes. I very purposely chose Fox and Rabbit's Fossil linen as it is a near-black color that is actually easy on a stitcher's eyes.
